VSS is basically a lay-off scheme where employees are asked to resign voluntarily from company. As a result they receive a great compensation. Telenor will offer other allowances, bonuses and support to the employees bearing job loss. In this way the process will be going to complete smoothly. Annual bonus (2.25 salaries) and gratuity for eligible employees under the company policy will also be provided. This step is taken to provide ease to their customers. Telenor has decided to serve their customers through a fast alternate service channels. these channels will be comprising of 289 walk in centers which will further establish customer zones in selected areas of Pakistan. Presently, Telenor has 17 Sales and Service Centers across Pakistan, which were established and have been operating to fulfill the needs of its customers.
